OBJECTIVE:

With a growing business, increasing demands as well as fierce competition, Client was finding it difficult to meet the demands and expectations of its customer while managing its day-to-day business. Client was looking for an effective way to communicate with its Clients & Staff, streamline operations, increase productivity, and minimize expenses and co-ordinate quickly and effectively with its global audience.

SOLUTION:

Momentum Infotech came up with a two-dimensional approach to the challenge. The first step involved creating an on-brand website that is now managed entirely by the client and clearly communicates all the benefits of the Clients''s product line to its users. Secondly, Momentum Infotech designed and developed an intranet so that Client''s Staff (Medical Transcriptionists and Editors) and Clients (Doctors, Hospitals) across the world could enjoy easy online collaboration and communication. The diverse global user base meant usability and accessibility were vital and, as well as addressing these concerns, Momentum Infotech equipped the site with a host of online collaboration tools to optimize sophisticated document management, data security as per HIPPA standards and storage capabilities. The online system established a seamless communication channel between the following entities:

> Administrator (Including Sub Administrators with limited access)

> Staff (Medical Transcriptionists, Editors)

> Continuity of Care Record (CCR): CCR based EMR module that enables medical providers to capture and transport essential patient information, including surgical history, demographics, medication, vital signs, diagnoses, allergies, and more, for effective continuation of care.

> Record Digitization: Digitization of old paper documents into digital files making them more accessible, more portable, more reliable, and more secure, and can be stored, managed, and protected more efficiently and cost-effectively.

> Research Integration: Actively research US National Library of Medicine resources and connecting relevant information automatically with transcribed documents.

> Dynamic Collaboration: Collaboration capabilities that enable Medical Providers to quickly and easily share patient''s electronic medical records with other medical providers at different locations.

> Individual & Interactive Dashboards: Allows medical providers to electronically sign off or finalize patient’s records; group or office administrators can manage providers and their staff, patient records and other important functions. Medical Transcriptionists and Editors can view, download and upload assigned task and documents.

> Audit Trail and Event Tracking: Capture and monitor end-user login and log-off times and IP addresses, time-stamp all uploaded files and documents including revisions as per HIPPA.

> Communication Integration: Automatic delivery of documents by email, print, or fax directly from the system. Eliminating the need to download and print hard copies, then manually send or distribute them.

> Easy to Set Up and Use: To use this Medical Transcription and EMR application all one need is a Web connection and Internet Explorer.
